RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION
The Residential Habilitation Department, (Res Hab) develops Individual Implementation Plans (IIPs)or Individualized Skills Development Plans (ISPs) for every resident at the Duvall Home. The plans are designed to encourage and assist all residents with developmental disabilities to become as independent as possible and to enrich their lives. The plans are developed through a person centered and directed circle of support team members.
There are highly trained, creative and educated professionals in the res hab department including master's level researchers/writers, a State of Florida Certified ESE teacher and experts in technology. The staff specializes in services for people with various developmental disabilities and autism. The department provides enrichment programs which include inviting and hosting community programs such as VSA Arts, Van Go Arts, musicians, Division of Blind services, Art and Music Programs, NFL Players association members, performers and more. The Res Hab Department looks forward to continued success with helping people become as independent as possible, expanding their horizons through enrichment programs and having a great time and lifestyle at the Duvall Home.
